CZECH TURKIC BUSINESS FORUM 2019

The first Czech Turkic Business Forum took place on Friday, 25th October 2019 at the University of New York in Prague.
Within the framework of integration and development of international relations, Czech Turkic Business Forum aimed to provide a platform for beneficial networking both between the entrepreneurs from Turkic countries doing business in Czechia and Czech entrepreneurs doing business in the Turkic states and state institutions, embassies. The event also aimed to support the development of commercial relations between the Czechia and the Turkic states.

The introductory remarks of event were delivered by Elmira Lyapina (Chairperson, KITAP – Tatar and Turkic association in Prague, www.kitap.cz) and Yalın Yüregil (Founder, YeYe Agency,www.yeyeagency.com). The first panel featured Abdullah Acar (Counsellor for Commercial Affairs, Republic of Turkey,prague.emb.mfa.gov.tr),Stanislav Matocha (Czech-Turkish Joint Chamber of Commerce, www.ctsok.eu), Denisa Číhalová (Director of the regional office for the Central Bohemia Region and Prague, CzechInvest,www.czechinvest.org) and Ondřej Koníček (Project manager for Central Bohemia and Prague, The Business and Innovation Agency (API), www.agentura-api.org), and Zufar Abdulgaleyev distantly (Official Representative, Trade and Economic Representation of the Republic of Tatarstan in Czechia) The panel was followed by the coffee break with lunch, where the participants could network in informal atmosphere. The second panel of the event was the panel discussion. The panels were followed by the accompanying cultural part, musical performances of Tomáš Boukal and Server Abkerimov. The event was held under the auspices of Prague City Hall, Prague City Councillor PhDr. Mgr. Vít Šimral et Ph.D. About 50 people participated in the Business Forum
